Swen Postels

Swen Postels is strategist and chief technologist at Hewlett-Packard for the European Automotive industry. He is focusing on the identification of business and technology challenges of the automotive industry and the development of solutions and business cases using HP’s IT technologies in direct cooperation with the R&D labs and the business units. Mesh cloud, the required analytics and its contribution to the automotive industry is one of Swen’s actual focus areas.
Swen Postels completed several economic studies and started his career with GE CompuNet in building their managed service business. He was cofounder of sitgate AG which was merged into Adesso AG where Swen was consulting IT-Management for the financial services industries. Before joining HP he also worked at KUKA robotics AG and in global IT Service-Management at BMW AG.
