Jean-Philippe Le Gac

Jean-Philippe Le Gac is Regulation Manager for Valeo Driving Assistance since September 2015. He was previously a manager with over 15 years of Managerial and Purchasing experience in multiple environments of the Automotive industry.

Mainly during his 9 years at RENAULT-NISSAN Purchasing Organization – working as Raw Material Expert – in a fast changing environment he acquired the skills for the Business Development in complex and various situations (Russia ,India ,Brazil ,Morocco …).

Also due to his international experience in a changing environment he became Regulation Manager : Valeo provides innovative global solutions in CO2 reduction emissions and the development of intuitive driving.

Norms and Regulations are more and more important for the interaction between the vehicle, the driver and the surrounding environment.

Vehicles that are connected to the surrounding environment receive and transmit data in real time. This enables them to constantly adapt to driving conditions and allows drivers to control applications and access certain vehicle data remotely via smarthphone for example. Reducing CO2 emissions is also a priority for Valeo’s innovations.

Mr Le Gac joined CLEPA as VALEO CDA Representative in November 2015 (European Associations of Suppliers). In this respect, he is also a VALEO member of the PFA (French Automotive Association) via the Autonomous Driving and E-mobility Working Groups.
