Suvi Hakamies

Suvi Häkämies is the managing director of Green Net Finland. Green Net Finland is a Finnish cleantech cluster developing smart and low-carbon urban environment and a professional development project organisation. Green Net Finland is a triple helix cluster bringing together the expertise and resources of Finnish cleantech companies, scientific and educational institutions and public authorities. The organisation is committed to preparing and implementing high-quality cleantech development projects and offering expert services related to project development and management, European funding instruments, networking and match-making. Green Net Finland’s focus areas are 1) Smart living, construction and urban structure, 2) Smart transportation and logistics and 3) Smart circular economy solutions. The organisation has been promoting Finnish cleantech know-how and internalization already for over 15 years. Green Net Finland is networking cleantech sector and creating new value chains in Finland and internationally.

Suvi has 10 years of experience in implementing and managing cleantech development projects. She knows development funding instruments widely, especially EU-funding and understands how development projects that have an impact are created and implemented. Her project portfolio includes various projects including CIP, FP7, ERDF, Interreg, Tekes, Norden and private funding. She is specialized in energy efficiency, smart and renewable distributed generation and generally removing development bottle necks in urban cleantech development.
