Robert Spacek
Biography
Professor Robert Špaček is the co-founder of the Institute of Ecological and Experimental Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava in 1990. In the years 1990-94 and 1996-2002 he served as Dean of the Faculty of architecture STU, 2003-2007, as vice-rector of STU. Today he holds the post of the Vice-dean of FA STU for science and research. He has co-authored about 10 professional publications and tens of scientific and hundreds of professional and popular papers. He is member of editorial boards of several slovak architectural, and foreign scientific journals. During his academic career, he has been member of nine scientific board in various universities and faculties. He is honorary member of Slovak Green Building Council.
In research and teaching is dealing with sustainable and experimental architecture.
