Tomas Gunis

I love architecture, wood and nature. “Think small” – this is challenge of our times and this is what I am trying to do: to create humble, low – energy consuming, low – footprint and low – budget (if possible) architecture.

I have more than 10 years experience in designing buildings, mostly in my own practice. Since my school times at Slovak University of Technology, ecology and energy consumption have grown from alternative to a standard and now they are the way I prefer to design buildings. Working for Slovak Green Building Council as an executive director has rooted me in this topic more than I would ever dream. Housing and using wood in building structures are fields I love the most.
