Paolo Nesi

Paolo Nesi is the chair of DISIT lab at the University of Florence. He coordinates a number of smart city projects and activities as: Km4City, Sii-Mobility, and RESOLUTE H2020. Most these projects are focused on data warehouse, data mining, decision support system, bigdata analytics for city, mobility and transport, and services, but also for smart cloud, social media vigilance, protection system, and railway. He has more than 20 years of experience in large multipartners EC projects, publishing more than 250 research papers, chairing several international conferences, and contributing to MPEG.
